Comp Day!!
Opening ceremonies was amazing...I will forever be an Olympian, and am so thankful for that, and all of the people who have supported me in getting to this day! Just took a nap, going to eat some lunch, hop on the bike and then head up to Cypress. Every one of you that has given an encouraging word, pushed me along the way, and believed in me will be with me today...whether you are here in Cypress or not. I am so thankful and looking forward to being in the moment tonight and doing everything I can to ski my best!

We are sending all the energy we can to you for you competition today!!! You go Girl!!! Christana
Go Heather!!! We are all cheering for you to have a GREAT day!! Ski fast and fly high! Best of luck!!! Suzanne
Heather, Anna Nolan is my friend here in Nebraska and has kept me informed of your ventures. Our son, Curtis, is on the men’s bobsled team, and we will be in Whistler on the 19th. That means we’ll watch your race on TV, and we wish you the very best. I know how much hard work and dedication it takes to be there, so enjoy every moment!! Amy Tomasevicz

Heather,
You are an Olympian, in every sense of the word. You can be proud of all you have accomplished; I know we are! Enjoy the rest of your time in Vancouver… make it the timeof your life! Love, Vickie
My heart was in my throat as you sped down that course, Heather. You are amazing! Ms. Meditation at the top, lighter than air on the jumps, and Mighty Mogul Woman in between. You reached for the rainbow with that second fast run, and you almost got there. But you did great–it is a huge achievement to compete at such a high level. Yes, you can be a proud Olympian, no doubt about it. And we are proud of you!
We were absolutely thrilled with your two runs yesterday, Heather. And to think that before Deer Valley and Lake Placid so recently you were not assured a place on the team! You sure proved you are an Olympian, and no doubt rejoiced with your two team mates who won gold and bronze. Steve and I say Brava Diva!!
You little Hot Dogger Smurf you. You skied your heart out, had an amazing run and went HUGE. You are the future of the sport and we’re all very proud of you back here in PC. It was a nice gathering at Susan’s and the love was strong there. See you when you get home.
Dude
You should probably throw a double if you are gonna huck that big. You rock, Heather. Great runs. Have a great time in Vancouver.
Mike
Heather we are so proud of you!! What a great job you did! You represented Bozeman, Montana so wonderfully!! You skied your heart out and that is what a true Olympian does!!! Enjoy the rest of your stay and watch out 2014!!!!!!!
