Olympic Life

Thank you everyone for all of your well wishes, kind words, etc before and after my competition at the Olympics. I was definitely disappointed with my fall in finals, but I was going 110% and left everything out on that course, and for that I am proud. It is a scary thing to go all in after your dreams, and in my eyes it's the journey that's really memorable in the end. That being said, I am soaking up every moment of my Olympic experience. PS...congratulations Hannah Kearney (Gold) and Shannon Bahrke (Bronze)...they both skied amazingly well and although I was bummed for myself, it brightened me up significantly to see two of my team mates up on that podium...I might cry again just thinking about it! Feb. 14th I went to men's moguls and screamed myself hoarse for our boys...they all did a fantastic job and I was so excited for Bryon Wilson...go Montana!!! I'm so proud of all of them. Feb. 15th I went to men's snowboardcross which was an awesome show, and I got to see several friends and pump the crowd up before finals! After that...off to a wonderful dinner with some of the trustees for the USSA...followed by figure skating! Yesterday I took a day off from cheering to rest my voice and my body and get back into my own training so that I am ready for the next world cups in Japan, Sweden and Spain. What an amazing life I'm leading! Off to men's halfpipe...I'll be in touch:)
